Portland, Conn. (WTNH) - The Portland owners are warned to be on the lookout for burglars. There have been several recent incidents, many in broad daylight, when the owners are at work.

"Access roads are long. It is a country road. It may be quiet," Isinglass Hill Road resident Cheryl Malone said.
So quiet that the robbers thought they could take advantage. There have been three incidents on Monday.Houses were broken into through a rear window or door.
"I had not heard until you came and asked, and it does not surprise me," Malone said.
