As many of you, I also bought several pieces of Lodge Logic Cast iron pieces, and besides the fact they are all excellent cookware, this scale has hit me square pan melt . It is simply the most beautiful kitchen I have. I hang on the wall for all to see, because it would be a shame to relegate a dark closet, where her beauty would be wasted. It comes from the factory perfectly cast, not a blemish anywhere! It is also pre-dried, which makes it a shiny, black beauty. As many commentators earlier, I have no confidence in the pre-seasoning my cast on others as it comes from the factory, but it seemed particularly well seasoned now, and I decided not to add another pre-seasoning the pan just to see if it's really necessary or not. Although I have not tested, so far, so good. He even blackened up even more after cooking chicken sausage several on him, and although the sausages were just a test, easily cleaned, and the sausages were cooked perfectly and scored grill marks.I read some commentators say that this stove is a bear to clean, just keep it clean is a hard brush with hair long enough to reach the bottom of the pan, where valleys are, and water hot. There should be some kinda "flat mess to make this difficult to clean pan, or a badly oiled before use. Not one of my LODGE LOGIC CAST IRON PARTS Ever had problems that the food sticking EVERYWHERE! This is not my stove, not my area of corn bread pan, not my corn muffin pan, and not my Dutch oven 5 quarts had problems bonding, and I've never had to go more than a minute cleaning any of them.In fact, I spend more time with their coating of vegetable oil after use to prepare them for future use. Maintenance and cleaning has been explained ad infinitum throughout these pages view, but this pre-seasoning of the plant is a boon, it can only improve from there. Buy Lodge Logic cast iron with confidence and get beautiful, easy to clean cookware, and support an American company too....
