Keeping the Faith with iPhone 4

"The last day to return my iPhone 4 in the window of 30 days for Apple for a full refund. I am not happy with how things went, but finally held on 4 iPhone proved to be the "lesser evil" to me in the circumstances. If I had known 31 days ago what I know now, I do things very differently. Sorting out 4G: Are we there yet?

AT & T 3G Microcell, which uses your Internet connection at home to improve your cellular reception is not the savior for the network company in difficulty as some may think.

Speaking to VentureBeat Mobile Summit today, AT & T Chief Technology Officer John Donovan said the company did not pursue grants and other methods for microcell and more homes because they do not set the underlying problems with its system.

Instead, AT & T has focused on improving its infrastructure in recent years - with varying degrees of success.

Calls to several AT&T stores in New York confirmed that the microcell is now selling for $199. Wi-Fi Enabled. Ultra Responsive. Available Now From Verizon..

  2. The reason is that 4G is a term used to mean "anything that goes faster than 3G" and as such it doesn't represent a single technology unlike the previous evolutions. The first generation of mobiles phones used a mostly forgotten analog technology that
  3. To address the spectrum crunch, you are likely to continue to see interest in heterogeneous networks combining macrocell and microcell deployments. Until blocks of contiguous spectra become available, however, you can expect to see more creative design
  4. "Without action to future-proof the underlying IT infrastructure the limitations of 3G, such as lack of bandwidth, will merely be shifted from the airwaves into the data centre." Any bottlenecks and breakdowns will affect the mobile service itself,
  5. The percentage of respondent operators deploying dual-mode 3G/Wi-Fi femtocells jumps from 5 percent in 2011 to 38 percent in 2013. About 83 percent of mobile operators have already deployed small cells (predominantly microcells and picocells) and the
