I just bought a Quest Rocket, and it has a different type of mounting for the engine. It also requires a different ignition process than Estes rockets, but will my Estes engines be able to set up without buying anything from quest?
Yes, Estes engines will work, and you shouldn't have to modify anything to get them to fit, as model rocket motors are all standard sizes and lengths. You can also mix and match igniters (Estes igniters with Quest motors and vice versa).

I started building model rockets when I was in Grade 3. The first rocket I ever built was a wizard Estes (with the old paint scheme, not the new ugly). With my cousins, I built and launched model rockets continuously throughout the elementary school until I went to high school. I took a respite from the university, but 15 years ago or so I started to return. 10 years ago, I started going to rocket launches a "great power" in the near field Whitaker, NC. The people there at Whitaker were very friendly and several years later, I started building rockets larger than those that I built as a kid.However, to use rocket engines greater, you must go through a certification process....

Four launch pads were prepared for the launch of more than 50 rockets. The rocket launch is an annual event to wrap up the school year for the Pack, which is chartered by the PTO of Adams School. In the weeks leading up to the launch, the Scouts built Estes rocket kits and prepared the rockets for their launches and recovery. They also covered age-appropriate information regarding the principles of motion, aerodynamics and relative pressures as well as safety.
