Karen Conti Knapp, 58, of Westfield, NY, formerly of Bangor, Maine, died peacefully Saturday, October 15, 2011, in his house.
She was born January 14, 1953, in Silver Creek, New York, the daughter of the late Anthony F. "Tony" and Pauline Fricano Conti.
Karen was a 1971 graduate of Jamestown High School and recently retired from Kwik Fill in Mayville, where she worked for many years.
She was a devoted wife for 25 years who had a love, nature, and gentle spirit. Karen loved her family and animals, especially her two dogs. She also enjoyed sewing and crafts and was known for its sock monkeys.
Surviving is a brother, Anthony G. "Jerry" (Kathi) Conti of Jamestown, three sisters: Elizabeth "Beth" Carroll of North Carolina, Patricia Baird of Erie, Pa., and Judith "Judy" (Bob) Gustafson of Jamestown, and several nieces and nephews loved .
