Some people do not know that there are three Kinokuniya "stores" in my Japantown. But, yes, there. There is essential, and the largest is the bookstore. And on the same floor in the room is the section where you can still find all your paper files, pencils and notebooks. And there is a new store Kinokuniya building one floor below, devoted to all things cute (San-X characters)....
I figured that pancakes would provide a much larger and more durable canvas with which to create, as well as naturally complimenting a number of ingredients, such as banana, chocolate and butter, that I could use for the face.
When walking around the supermarket looking for the above ingredients, my eyes chanced upon chocolate decoration pen and a smile spread across my face. Previously I struggled playing surgeon on seaweed just to make the eyes and mouth, but this time I could take of the face with a quick point and squeeze. Decoration pen, banzai!
