December is finally here. And that means I only have 20 days to go for the Big W!
I just got home from the town hall, where I got our marriage license. This means, by law, I can finally marry Cess. And it also means, by law, I can not marry Cess. The license is good for ctually next four months. In fact, when I checked the expiration date of the license, I discovered this is exactly my birthday, March 31. My license is expiring at the same time next year. Wow So much for coincidences!...
Hoboken may be battening down the hatches and going to high ground come Sunday, when Hurricane Irene arrives, but rain or shine, the 2nd annual Festival will always hMag City Square Mile rocking it Saturday.
After a much smaller inaugural event last year at the Shipyard Marina, hMag Fest moves to Pier A Park, below the New Jersey Transit terminal at the southern end of Hoboken, Saturday, Aug. 27.Sponsored by GBX Shoes, Fest this year will include nine live bands and playing area for children and 60 booths offering arts and crafts, food and beverage and other goods from local businesses. Hoboken resident Jeff Miles of WPLJ-FM will host the event every day, which is scheduled to run from 12:00 to 10:00 p.m.. The festival is free and open to all ages.
